Production of MZP-13 gear couplings with an intermediate shaft on order in accordance with GOST 5006-94.
MZP-13 coupling – stands for gear coupling with an intermediate shaft. An intermediate shaft is used to connect shafts located at a distance.
A gear coupling with an intermediate shaft (MZP-13) is used to connect shafts remote from each other, transmit torque and compensate for angular, radial and axial displacement.
MZP-13 coupling is formed by connecting two half-couplings, one of which
has a toothed sleeve and a cage with gearing, and the other is a
one-piece flanged half-coupling with an intermediate shaft pressed into
it. The MZP-13 gear coupling is heavier than the MZ coupling due to the
presence of an integral flange half-coupling.
The intermediate shaft is designed to connect shafts located at a remote
distance from each other mechanisms. When mounting the intermediate
shaft, a set of two MZP-13 gear couplings is used.
Operating conditions of gear MZP-13 couplings:
- Long-term work (up to 24 hours a day) or with periodic stops
- Rotation in any direction
Dimensions and characteristics of MZP-13 couplings:
