Elastic sleeve-pin coupling (MUVP-8) is an elastic coupling whose main feature is to compensate for dynamic loads
due to rubber bushings, which may be corrugated for greater flexibility and are capable of deformation when the clutch transmits torque.
The elastic pin-sleeve coupling (MUVP-8) is used to connect coaxial shafts when transmitting torque (μr) ranging from 6.3 to 16,000 Nm and reducing dynamic loads. MUVP-8 couplings are used in drive mechanisms to compensate for radial and angular displacements of the axes of connected shafts, protect against resonant vibrations, and also soften shocks and impacts.
Overall dimensions and parameters of MUVP-8 couplings:
| Coupling | Torque, Nm | Ød | ØD, no more | L | l | Weight, kg |
| Coupling MUVP-8 | 710 | 45-56 | 190 | 170-226 | 56-110 | 14,31-15,22 |

Operation of MUVP-8 couplings:
- climatic version according to GOST 15150 (U1, U2, U3, UHL-4, T1, T2, T3, O4);
- long-term operation up to 24 hours a day or with periodic stops;
- rotation in any direction;

Elastic sleeve-pin coupling MUVP-8 consists of
- Two coupling halves (1),
- They are connected using fingers (2), mounted in standard holes.
- Rubber elastic bushings are put on the fingers (3)
- Spacers (4).
The MUVP-8 coupling is made of the following materials: coupling halves – cast iron SCh-20 or steel 30L, pins – steel 45, bushings – rubber from 8 MPa. The MUVP-8 bushing consists of several rings. MUVP-8 rings are used in the appropriate size (K1, K2, K3, K4, K5, K6, K7).
